Bird Removal in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana

Tri-State Wildlife Management (TSWM) provides humane  solutions for commercial and residential problems with pigeons, starlings, sparrows, woodpeckers, geese and more. Tri-State Wildlife Management offers bird removal, as well as professional exclusions, repairs, and cleanups, in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana . TSWM will evaluate every aspect of your bird problem and provide you with a detailed plan of action to help mitigate your bird issue. In addition to resolving your bird problem with removal and exclusion, TSWM also offers cleanup services and bird damage repairs. Cleanup projects include removing bird droppings and infested nesting material, and disinfecting the site.

TSWM offers an array of deterrent and exclusion plans and devices to fit a variety of circumstances that meet the needs of our customers. Depending on the species, trapping is often an excellent solution in conjunction with physical deterrents  to reduce bird populations. TSWM is very effective with bird exclusion and trapping projects both large and small.

Health Hazards with Birds

There are many health risks associated with birds and their droppings. You do not want to turn a blind eye towards a bird problem and underestimate the risks associated with them. The bacteria, fungi, and ectoparasites that they and their droppings harbor are numerous. Some of the diseases associated with birds are histoplasmosis, cryptococcus, listeriosis, newcastle disease, and salmonella. Birds also carry many ectoparasites such as ticks and mites that can infect their human hosts with diseases such as encephalitis, avian pox and meningitis. TSWM can provide you with a safe and effective abatement of disease-carrying contaminants. Bird droppings and nests can be safely removed and the site disinfected to reduce the health risks to you and others that may come in contact with the contaminants.

Woodpeckers

There are over 200 different species of woodpeckers worldwide, 23 of which can be found in the United States. The woodpecker is most commonly found in wooded regions of the country where they can cause damage to the exterior of wooden buildings and houses. The woodpecker’s unique body is designed to easily cling to tree trunks, branches, wood siding, or utility poles while pecking for food. Pecking or “drumming” against trees or buildings is the characteristic most associated with woodpeckers. They do this to establish territories and to attract or signal mates. Woodpeckers primarily feed on tree living or wood-boring insects using their strong beak and long tongue to dislodge food. This search for insects can cause tremendous damage to wooden homes and buildings. TSWM provides the solution to your woodpecker problem
